You make it sound like they went together <3 Now I have this wonderful image of Mikey and Lucy being each other's reluctant date (because they waited too long to ask anybody else and its prom and everybody's pestering them about how this night only happens once - though, really, twice or three times if you're a lucky sophomore - in a lifetime, so they shouldn't skip it for an anti-prom protest where they just sit around playing video games or playing D&D).
