all I was thinking during "The Swan Song" was what?! How dare you break Chuck and Becky up!!! *laughs* I know, right? I a) thought that "I respected her too much" was totally geek code for "she dumped me and all I want is for her to take me back :(" and b) was like, "NOOOO, I HADN'T REALIZED THIS WAS MY HET OTP UNTIL YOU TOOK IT AWAY." Like, even more than Dean/Cassie or Dean/Bela or Sam/Ruby (okay, apparently I have a lot of het OTPs in this fandom, whatever), I love them.
Gabriel is using his archangel powers to start a black market candy trade, but his principles mean that Castiel (as sheriff of Heaven) doesn't get included in it. Eventually he'll probably wander earthward again, but right now he's hanging out with Pamela et al and enjoying his semi-retirement.
