The thing that kills me, absolutely kills me, is that Cas himself wrote out the book telling Dean how to get out of it. He sat down and he wrote it out carefully -- I bet he was completely honest about the translation, didn't fudge anything, was as clear as he could be -- because he didn't think Dean would ever want it.
